Membership and Privileges
The library is primarily intended for use by college faculty (Teaching & Non-Teaching), students, Alumni and other members. Library membership card is provided to each members. Followings are membership categories and their privileges:

Membership:
The services are open to registered members. The following categories of persons are eligible to enroll as membership of the library.

B. A. & B. Com. Students

College Faculty (Teaching and Non-teaching)

Alumni (Ex. Students of college) and Other members
a) For enrolment as a member, application form dully filled all details with appropriate Identification should be submitted at the library department.
b) The applicant is enrolled as a member and a membership card is issued to him. Membership is not transferable.
c) Member must carry his membership card on every visit to the library and produce it whenever demanded by the library staff.
d) Member should keep his membership card safely. He is liable for any use, misuse of his card by others. In the event of loss or theft of the membership card, the member should immediately inform to the library. His card will be disabled and a duplicate card shall be issued if he so requires on payment of requisite fee.
e) Non member can visit the library only with special permission of the Principal / Librarian. A Recommendation from the staff of the college or parent organization may be required for obtaining such permission.
Discipline, Security and Privacy:
I. All personal belongings should be kept outside the Library at the designated place.
II. Own reading material cannot be brought inside the library, except small notebooks for taking notes.
III. Computer terminals provide in the library for searching the Online Public Access Catalogues (OPAC). Use of this terminals for any unauthorized purpose, accessing external networks, changing or damaging the hardware/software settings data or any other illegal activity will be liable for punitive action.
IV. Silence and order must at all times be maintained in and around the library. Smoking is not allowed inside the library. Visitors are expected to maintain a decent and civilized behavior and mannerism.
V. Library staffs have right to ask any person whose presence in their opinion have violated the rule IV whose presence in their opinion will be detrimental to
decorum and environment conductive to reading, to leave the library premises. Repeated incidence of such behavior will be attract punitive action.
VI. C.C.T.V. camera covers all the space of library with reading room.
Condition of loan:

Library membership card is non-transferable.

Before leaving the counter a member shall ensure that the book, taken on loan in good condition.

Dictionaries, encyclopedias, important and valuable books and any other books classified, as reference books shall not be lent out.

A book, which is on loan, may be reserved for borrowing by other members on filling-up a reservation slip at the circulation counter or member may ask library staff to reserve the particular book.

All books on loan shall be returned within/ on the due date.

The Librarian reserves the right to recall any books from any member at any time.

Absence and illness are not acceptable excuses for exemption from paying an overdue charge.

Mutilations, markings or removal of pages will be considered as "damage". Such documents, as also the lost ones, will have to be replaced or paid for at the one and half amount of current price. In case of rare and out-of-print books, price assessment made by the Librarian will be final and binding.
